When I was in Egypt I visited a temple, I believe it was called Kom Ombo or Philae, and I am standing in a place that 2,000 years ago I would never even get to see, I would have been knifed in the gut several hallways before this. The room has a large, monolithic pink rose granite altar, and the walls are covered in Mystic rooms and hieroglyphics. One hieroglyphic has been cut out of the wall, the Eye of horus, and was taken to the church called Santa Maria sopra Minerva, sometimes referred to as the "Black Church" due to its dark interior, where various ancient artifacts are displayed.
The cult of Horus stretched from Egypt to Rome, indicating that the symbolism and religious practices related to Horus were known and perhaps practiced to some extent in Rome.
This altar, by the way, you can 100% feel the powerful energy it has, even me, a layman, who doesn't believe in crystals and pagan bs, if you just quiet your mind and hold your hands over the altar, it has an absolutely 100% undeniable power in it. We know that the Ancients were very sensitive to the magnetic fields inside stone. We have common for instance, large Granite blocks with Magnetic channels found at archaeological sites in bolivia. It's pretty crazy.
Temple of Hathor is replete with mushrooms
Got any links on what you saw?
I wish—in fact, to support my story, I asked GPT to surf the web and find something on it. I remember it clearly now. It's in the temple of Philae, a very clear cube -like recess in the wall where the Eye of Horus once was. We had two world-class guides on this trip, it was magnificent. Yusuf, one guide, very famous here in the West, at least in archaeological circles, translated the area of the wall and you could see clearly that the Eye of Horus had previously been there based on the translation of the hieroglyphics
Absolutely, the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, Egypt is a fascinating subject. I'm bit sure where you're getting the above, however, as it is not specifically filled with mushrooms or mushroom imagery ( though I feel like I get what your referencing, the imagery in churches and, like, my impairments, for instance, yes, that's definitely a thing). The Dendera Temple is replete with intricate reliefs and esoteric symbolism that have intrigued scholars and alternative historians for years. Some people argue that what appear to be light bulbs in some reliefs, but, no, it's even more interesting. That specific relief is hidden in a crypt buried under the floor of a back room , it was their way of trying to save their symbolic representation of esoteric or "hidden" knowledge re the creation of the world. These claims often dive into the realm of alternative history, mixing archaeology with a hefty dose of speculative thought. It's a mesmerizing site, but claims about mushrooms seem to be more in the domain of Terence McKenna-style interpretations than mainstream archeological consensus. Still, if you're into the crossover of ancient spirituality and psychoactive substances, Dendera is a rabbit hole worth diving into.
I have dived deep into dendra. It is fascinating. I didn’t see the light bulb type objects though.
That's kind of odd, considering that the 'Dendera Lightbulb' is pretty much what the temple is best known for. Have you been to the site? It's a 'special permissino' to go down into the tight, secret crypt. Although the current structure primarily represents the Ptolemaic era, the site that dates back to at least 2250 BC.
