My Frens,
You might think I’m crazy, and that doesn’t mean I’m not, but I’m going to discuss this theory.
It’s POSSIBLE that the “open border” here in the US is a good thing and part of the plan by the “good guys.”
OK, put down your sticks and stones and hear me out.
Let’s just think about this. How difficult would it be to apprehend terrorists and “bad guys” if they would otherwise be running around the world? Well, that would take a lot or resources and time; bottom line, it would be nearly impossible. Also, it’s probably hard, if not impossible, to prosecute them for terrorism. However, by opening up our border, it’s attracting these “bad guys’ and therefore much easier to apprehend them when they come to you. So, you say, that’s putting the US citizens in jeopardy. Well, where else on Earth are there as many guns and trained gun owners than here? There are (at last estimates) 400M guns and 72M gun owners here in the US. That’s a damn big army! So, does it sound like a great and easy way to apprehend terrorists? It’s pretty simple to charge them with immigration violations. I don’t care WHY they're in prison, just THAT they’re in prison.
This strategy would require some serious planning. Hmmm, sounds like a “plan.”
So, in a convoluted yet logical way, it’s POSSIBLE that the “open border” here in the US is a good thing and part of the plan by the “good guys.”
Another point is that Mexicans are conservative Catholics and become Republicans once they learn more about American politics. Mexican-Americans are the fastest growing Republican demographic.
This is mostly true. However, I have also met many who are Jehovah Witness and to a lesser extent Mormon. These groups also tend towards conservatism.
I am however not so sure about the views of those south of Mexico. Mexico is actually a vast upgrade in economics and education to those from say Honduras and Nicaragua. Although they generally have a good work ethic, they still play the poverty game really well... which means they don't have a problem with manipulating systems to their advantage.
I see many of them in my Catholic Church here in rural NC. I taught religion class to over 30 kids ranging in age from 5 to 13. All I can say is they were the best behaved kids I’d ever seen. None of them had cell phones. And all were very respectful to me. Their families were lovely and very conservative.
My conservative brother married a Hispanic woman from Mexico. Her and her entire family were already legal citizens before they met and married and also were democrat voters. Through my brother's information and guidance about politics they realized the Democrat party was not their friend. All 5 of them are now Trump supporters.
