While I’m about to critique your take I know I’m still going to get downvoted because depending on how you look at it in a way I still agree with you, even though I also don’t.
Saying God isn’t real is like saying love isn’t real. They’re ideas. Powerful ideas that unlock our true potential. The thing I love about Jesus is he helped us glimpse that potential. Unfortunately people have done with him exactly what they did in the Old Testament—ignore the lesson in favor of worshipping the messenger.
Yeah I agree. Sort of. But what Jesus showed us is that our imaginations are more powerful than most of us are willing to believe. Is love real? Are ideas real? Can you show me an idea? Can you shake its hand? Can you study it under a microscope? I don’t think there’s a guy out there running things but when I meditate, when I pray, when I imagine I’m having a conversation with a version of myself that exists without limitations, that knows the answers to everything, that fears nothing, that’s filled with love and wisdom and power…and I converse with this imaginary person, my life improves, my attitude improves, my behaviors improve, my skills improve, and my faith increases and I work literal miracles. So real in the modern sense or not, I wouldn’t care less, because the idea is there, and the exercise of communing with that idea works and there’s simply no denying that. And I feel sorry for anybody who can’t see and embrace that.

I blame the books of Paul for this.
No excuse. He has manifested it and deep down you know there is something more and yet you choose to keep control. 🙏
Sorry that really didn’t make sense to me what you just said there. Do you mind elaborating a little?
Doesn't Q reference God multiple times, including asking for prayer?
