The number of prominent conservative accounts reporting shadow bans/limited reach is alarming. I guess at least Elon is saying a lot of the right things but I'd really like to talk to him in person and be like WTF dude.
Anyone who has dealt with liberal logic in the form of code knows that it's far from logical, and a mess to untangle - using the latest and greatest as a learning experience rather than just doing their jobs and keeping it minimal. Imagine 1000's of liberals writing code with bad intentions - cleaning it up would take years and rewriting it would probably take years as well because it's going to permeate the databases and IT infrastructure as well.
I disagree with the effort to strip out the algorithms. But I'm not sure how long it would take a team to write a whole new code base without all the crap in it - sometimes the best approach.
He has to create a level playing field. you cannot do that by swinging from one weighted bias to another. So there are still algorithms in place, and certain things are going to trigger them.
Imagine that Twitter is a massive fleet of 1,000,000 super tankers. You don't wield that, or liberate that, or redirect that, but focusing on the smaller picture.
Can't say anything about shadow banning, but I do think that some people's idea of Freedom = Our team gets all the advantage, because we're right. Which is actually simply the inverse reflection of what all those liberals and marxists were thinking all along.
I think that's what he's doing. I think that Twitter has to have certain things in place, if he's truly attempting to build a middle ground open space for dialog. In my view, the positive impact the Musk acquisition of - and subsequent actions on - Twitter have been a huge plus for the patriot and freedom side of things.
But it's conservative and not-necessarily (some anti- even) anon accounts getting massive throttling. Brandon Straka is the most recent one to notice that I saw.
Yes he's saying the right things to trick you, just like politicians have been doing forever. Don't fall for it again just because it's a billionaire and not a politician it's the exact same scam

If you follow the engineering team on there they've done a shit ton. It would not be hard to simply strip the algos out/turn them off.

Personal opinion, rewrite it and pull the databases over. Cleaner code and eliminates anything hidden.

You can simply remove the bias. Good grief!

But maybe that's just me.

Reword your comment to not imply the reader is a rube and I'll retract my downpoot and delete this one.
OK then
