Sorry for the wiki link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_speakers_of_the_United_States_House_of_Representatives
The 44th speaker term ended on March 4, 1877. This whole thing is dasting AF.
Seems to me we got our Republic back.
If we can keep it...
Ya'll need to go back to the video and read the comments. Those folks are pretty spot on with how the Corporation had taken over America.
This is so exciting now that I understand it. Thanks for pointing this out!!!
This should be stickied. It was a blatant statement by Scalise and this is huge!!!
I looked it up and this is who the actual 45th SOTH was. Any ideas why Scalise referred to MJ as the 45th? (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_W._McCormack)
Did we abolish our illegal corporation, and pick up where our Republic was changed over?
That's exactly it. The 44th speaker of the Republic was in 1876.
Actually the 44th speaker was in the 1960s. When the Republic was suspended in the 1870s there had only been 23 speakers. What am I missing here ?
That's not right. Just look at the other posts on this article.
Thank you! I couldn't remember the numbers.
Mike Johnson as the 45th speaker of the house.. because the US Corporation was fully setup in 1878. The last official speaker prior to the US corporation was mike kerr in 1876. He was the 44th speaker
That was the 44th Congress not the 44th speaker. https://history.house.gov/People/Office/Speakers_Numerical_Order/
This wiki page list Samuel Randle as the 45th SOTH.

Piglosi's wiki page has her listed as the 52nd SOTH

Mike Johnson wiki page has him listed as the 56th SOTH

Scalise introduces him as the 45th.
According to WIKI there has been (65) SOTH since 1789.
Something is off.
I noticed this when he said it and never heard anything about it. I thought it was very weird when I heard him say that.
Here is the House history of speakers. It lists each one and what years or terms they presided over. https://history.house.gov/People/Office/Speakers_Numerical_Order/
