Yeah, this seems like a revision of something going around a year or so ago where I think the title was 1,500 universities were unable to isolate covid. Odd, they stuck with the 1,500 number. If I remember correctly there was no backing up the claim when this went around a year or so ago.
I think it is because he is just reading that paper. It's not his own original research, unless he is the guy who wrote the paper -- which I doubt, because if he was, he likely would have added more of his own thoughts in addition to just reading the paper.
