It may be a parasite, it may be a toxin, but many anons here have testified that it feels different. And I have heard many people personally who say the same thing, including many who often go against the grain and do not fall for gov't BS. So unless you distrust all those voices, the sensible conclusion is that it's not the flu.
It acted differently than a flu. The early 2020 one seemed to bypass the nose and throat and go to directly to the lungs. I got the omicron vesrion, which settled in the throat. Not as bad, I thought for sure it was strep throat for sure but it cleared up different than strep.
Sorry to hear that, fren. I had similar experiences. During that time, my mental state was so messed up I only realized how bad I had been after I was better.
Do you still have symptoms? Have you tried a course of ivermectin, or of nebulized hydrogen peroxide?
there are bacterial infections that do tho. chronic bronchitis and such. just because people have symptoms doesnt mean it's something never before seen
well there are tons of rumors out there that the genome has never been sequenced. so not being in a lab coat myself i'm considering both possible

at the end of the day it's anecdotal. "i felt worse this time than other times". ok, that could still just be influenza.
Normal flu doesn’t linger for months and years on side effects.
It’s not what they say, but it wasn’t nothing, either.
Don’t ask me what it IS/WAS because I don’t know.
