Not to knock them, but I've used Scottsdale Mint several times, and the last time it took 4 months to deliver. I had to call them. I usually use JM or SD Bullion - delivery within a week. I like Scottsdale, but feel they are just overwhelmed. Personal experience only.
Are you constrained to using remote purchase? Local purchase can be a good solution, especially if you intend to buy continuously and can build a relationship. Also avoids shipping and insurance costs.
If you want to buy continuously and require remote access, Try Money Metals Exchange. Buy a subscription and get the advantage of dollar cost averaging.
If a one time purchase, there are several sites (I can't remember one on the spur of the moment) that advertise layered costs for check, crypto, or card that might offer alternatives for you.
look up Scottsdale Mint on Gab. they're based.
Good deals too
Anyone else use Scottsdale Mint? I read about them online and seem impressive.

It depends on your state. All of them collect taxes if they need to.
Thanks.
Amazingly precious metals purchases is one of the few things in IL with no sales tax.
That is surprising, we don't have any here in oklahoma as well. And if you go to a local coin shop, they only take cash.
Walmart... I know I know it sounds bad but it's the cheapest way to buy apmex and no cc fees

Also be aware, if you buy coins that were government minted, a few CC banks will count that as a cash advance...
Nope. Best you can do is get a package forwarding service and deliver it to a state with no sales tax.
