“I'm not here to hear what he has to say. I'm here to hear him answer questions.”

Obviously, to answer questions, he has to say things. So the Grudge-Judge is self contradictory but not ambiguous. He was discouraging Trump from speaking beyond answering questions (something lawyers also often deter clients from doing).

I'm not sure how major this is...the quack judge being the creepiest, most demonically malevolent disgrace to his profession we've ever seen is true, but beside the point ; )
