My take, and only my take, the army has put out this type of advertisement every few years when enlistments are down, so to me (and only me) this really is nothing new for them.

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble but I would like to see one saying we are on your side America-which is our side-and we will fix this soon!! Until then it is just an advertisement to me.

Even if it's cyclical, this is the first cycle after the rainbow flags, stunning and brave officer photos, dog fetish, etc fiascoes, and they're running them anyway. Meanwhile, feds are recruiting at pride marches.
