I sort of can't blame the younger generation.
I seen a post on here previously that was worded well on why young ones feel depressed.
They have no hope of saving for a home etc.
Geesh I'm mid thirties and could see the writing on the wall of how hard it was to get into the market compared to my dad working vs husband and I both working.
I have no idea how my kids have any chance.
I hear you sister. I am 56 and it seems to just be getting harder and thankful The house is paid off and one vehicle we are paying for is almost paid off. I am a mechanic and my health and physical are not near as good as just even a few years back. I worry all the time about my kids and what my Grandkids have in store for them. At the rate we are going we are setting them all up for failure
A 1200-1400 sq ft house, a car with a radio and maybe a/c but nothing else, and most people didn't go to college. Part of the problem today is the amount of money wasted trying to pretend everyone is upper middle class.
