Don't kid yourself. As our most recent "elections" showed, the governance of many states has been as completely corrupted as the DC swamp.

Agreed, but, the more local you go the more these issues hit home with those communities. I swear most people have a cognitive disconnect when it comes to the Federal Government. Well, maybe it's the education we all received, or didn't....
