By Hillary AndrewsSource FOX Weather
Could a solar super storm kill the internet? Professor Peter Becker of George Mason University discusses the real threats of strong solar flares.
We may marvel at the Northern Lights, but that same solar storm energy could one day create what one researcher described as an "internet apocalypse."
"The internet has come of age during a time when the sun has been relatively quiet, and now it's entering a more active time," said Professor Peter Becker of George Mason University. "It's the first time in human history that there's been an intersection of increased solar activity with our dependence on the internet and our global economic dependence on the internet."
Setting the narrative for things to come!!!!!!
My guess also.
Oh yeah.
Yup
10 days of darkness??
Darnkess
I suspect the scientist sees this claim against "dangerous solar activity" as a path to get grant money. Next year it will probably included "dangerous man-made solar activity". I just can't help being skeptical.
I join you - I believe almost nothing coming out of the corrupt - who will pay me - 'scientific' community. Likewise, Media, Governments, Big Pharma, Banks etc etc is worth anything but a cursory glance before deleting.
You know the scam. $$$$$
No worries. I have original game disks going back for the last 20 years.
All he has to do is turn on Ben Davidson's Youtube channel: Suspicious0bservers. This isn't rocket science, but I guess Becker needs to make it look hard so he can gain monetary backing to do the exact same thing Ben has already done. Pretty good grift if he can get it.
Does this imply that the internet uses technology that is different from anything else? If not, why won't the "anything else" also be affected?
Radios, TVs, phones ...
The Carrington event caused fires in all power stations and subsidiarys such as telegraph offices, sparks were given off by generators and power lines that started these fires.
Ramp this up to todays world and everything might catch fire, the phone in your pocket, your kitchen juicer, your car and your bus. Horrifying.
Good point
