Disappointed that Sarah is on board with this all electric “coercion” of the people. America runs on coal and oil…any Hog Pedes out there care to enlighten me???
Sarah's job is to bring jobs to Arkansas for her people and to build the state economy. Not to argue whether electric cars are viable or not. Lithium mines are jobs for people and lithium batteries are used for a lot more than just electric cars.
Correct. We need lithium batteries for lots of things, not everything can have an electric cord attached.
And in reality their are precious and rare metal mining locations in our country that would end dependency on foreign sources. BUT..and it's a big one... one site in the southwest that was a rare mineral mine site is a hideous poisonous site from the bowels of hell that was shut down and not cleaned up or something. Very great environmental caution is necessary. Its not just tree-hugger paranoia.
I REALLY feel what you are going through BUT I have ALL ELECTRIC HAND TOOLS that I can use, RIGID, if one must know, and they are a thang of beauty when I pull them out of their "ORIGINAL CARRY CASES".....
I say to myself: "Self, do you need anything that is NOT corded?" and the answer as always: "NOPE"!!!!
Really boataholic, I know exactly where you are coming from!!! If you need power tools with a chord try a pawn shop...the chord might be a lil "messed up" but that can be fixed and a lot of the stuff just needs some TLC!!!!!

but this is a lithium well, not a mine...
whatever, well or mine the point stands.
The point shows lack of concern for facts. Maybe they can mine for oil ore too.
OK, that’s me told…
Theyre using oil and gas to find it.

Does it occur to you that lithium is in a lot of flashlight type batteries too? What’s with the negativity?
I use lithium batteries for host of stuffs, not just ev. People are just nuts to think EV is the only use for Lithium.
Have you seen the price of lithium-ion batteries for power tools? Getting so high I may need to look for a gas powered drill.
HEHEHEHEHE...😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁😁😀😀😀

Good Luck!!!
The problem with electric is that they are forcing it to market. As long as we stop them for making it law.
I think your question has been answered. Not just for EV, we use it for Christmas lights and all kinds.
