Are they gonna roll it all back out after Xi leaves?

I will never forget when the Superbowl came to Detroit in Feb 2006............they did a pretty decent makeover of the city. They removed the plywood windows, put up new fascia, awnings, opened coffee shops and other storefronts.......seemed like it was just what Detroit needed in order to turn a corner.

UNBELIEVABLY, the city took all that neat, new stuff down and put the plywood back up, took the awnings down. The coffee shops and stores only opened for business for that weekend and closed back up. Right back to what it all was just a week prior.........

They purposely turned the city back into sh** when there was no need. It actually took a concerted effort

So, we'd have a real life Honkai Star Rail by now?

Agreed, there'd be plenty of buildings....but they'd be empty and would collapse due to shoddy workmanship at the slightest tremor

Amazing how they clean things up when they have to.
