Dont You have doctrine in your church that makes the pope God.
Pope =:vicar of Christ. Christ = God on earth. Infallible? What's a pope supposed to believe of himself if not that has been voted to be God by the other fish hat guys.
It's no use trying to talk sense with Catholics. They are fully indoctrinated by the teachings of.....Popes! They are willing to take the single verse of the Bible, out of context, as the sole justification for the Catholic church! It really is unbelievable, but when you see how cults like the Mormons, or Jehovah's Witnesses, appeal to people's desire to "work for salvation", it is understandable.
Kudos for seeking clarification by asking a sincere question, anon.
Answer, NO.
There is no church doctrine that "makes the pope God". (Obviously, no Q trained anon will take anyone's word to be true without doing their own research, even my word). 😘
