LMFAO... Elon bans the word "decolonization." Liberals cry, "but that's the thing we learned about to get our Master's Degree and PhDs!"

Maybe a little context helps?
Colin Wright:
Musk responds:
Later, Musk quoted himself the above tweet, and then elaborated:
Later on, he reinforced his view:
Understanding is better than reacting. Sadly, Cats didn't seem to consider the negative impacts of sharing a fake headline without proper context, essentially perpetuating the narrative spin of certain Musk haters. IMO.
The only conclusion is that 'Elon bans "'decolonization" ' is narrative spin. Spin and narrative formation by those who don't like his position. What he is saying is that calls for extreme violence, such as "murder all Jews" or "Murder all Palestinians" etc, contravene the X terms of service.
Seems to me he is not "banning" any word or term, but rather, is calling a spade a spade (I guess that's open to interpretation, but from Elon's viewpoint) and he's saying X doesn't allow posts of that kind.
As an international open speech platform - on its way towards that - there have to be standards. Not ideological ones, as with the case of Twitter #1, but standards nonetheless. Calls for murder, death, etc, and in this case, genocide, violate the X terms.
I'm 100% against the "banning of words", but is that what this is? I'd say no. That's the spin that those who hate Musk want to put on it.
What about Truth Social? Standards/ How about GAW? Standards? Standards is NOT the same as banning words. It is about banning behavior.
Good take. I needed the context as I'm not one to favor banning anything but this makes sense
Yeesh. Thanks for clearing that up... I got rage-baited 😔
There's lots of that going around these days! A veritable epidemic.
