Trust me, THEY know why and pass it along. They hear things we don't hear. If it goes on for an hour go check police scanners etc on facebook for strange happenings around there.
Yes, exactly. Dogs can hear frequencies that we cannot. Everything in our world has a frequency or "vibration", even rocks. They "hear" things we don't, they feel things that we don't. If a dog is freaking out over no apparent reason...duck.
Any chance a Bigfoot could be lurking around? If your property is near a creek/river/lake/body of water that’s heavily wooded (e.g., forest, nature preserve, National park area), that’s pretty much exactly what Sasquatch territory looks like.
There is definitely a coconut grapevine involved. The neighborhood dogs will set each other off. Mine will bump open a window and bark outwards to join in with the fun with the others. Usually it is just at someone walking and talking down the road though.

Even more so they have olfactory like nobodies business. They build their world scent.
Oh my yes, our lab can smell a squirrel coming through the woods (or so it seems). He lives to sniff!
Exactly. And keep your gun close. If something does come across the scanner, bring the dogs in. I'd hate fir you to loose any to an asshole.
