USCIS is still requiring all LEGAL greencard applicants to get the covid jab: https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/panel-physicians/vaccinations.html#covid-19-vaccination
This is ALL immigrants changing their status inside the United States, and in my case it's blocking my wife's IR1 immigration visa. I have hired people to look into legal options, and the advice I have been given is there is nothing that I can do as far as a waiver goes, because it's completely up to the officer to grant a waiver, and if we get denied there is both no way to challenge the denial in court AND it would prevent us from getting a non-immigration immigration visa having a rejection on her file.
I am a US citizen and my family is BANNED from the United States because of on-going federal vaccine mandates.
Enter by land border via Canada.
This is becoming the most likely option. It's mind boggling how incompetent the government is. It's like the power went off in the prison and I'm stuck in solitary.
Gonna go out on a limb here a little bit. Sometimes God does his greatest work when we are out of our own options. Prayer, offered in humility and righteousness, is powerful and effective (James 5:16). (For reference, I am a Bible believing Christian.) There are many Scriptures that speak to the authority of the believer over our enemies by employing the weapons of spiritual warfare. That said, you can receive from God what you have faith for not what you don't. (Matt 9:29) If you're on the fence about God or feeling weak in your faith, you could bring God what you have in terms of faith (Mark 9:24) (even if it's in the nothing category), and dig in in prayer with consistency. The enemy will resist you. Who wins is determined not only by who is the last one standing, but also by whose "truth/words" prevail. Avoid bitterness or you will miss the grace of God (Hebrews 12:15). Someone once told me that,"Until we understand that life is war, we'll never (truly) understand what prayer is for." I'll be praying for you.
This is definitely how it feels. We have agency, but we are not control. God is in control. Thanks for the payers!!
Well stated! And you're welcome!
Many people have the template and proper cardstock for a do-it-yourself vaccine card.
It would be a lot easier to do this in the USA. I'm in a country in Asia where it's harder to forge, so it's harder to risk it when that could also result in a denial.
And as far as getting a "real" version from a doctor without the ouchie is also kind of hard without connections.
This is concerning, my Canadian wife is in the process of her green card renewal right this moment. The need for Vax hasn't come up at all from her lawyer nor USCIS. Shes... I hear.. very close to getting approved, we may or may not need a interview (should find out in a couple weeks now).
We've been in this renewal process for 2.5 years. I will let you know what happens in our case... if they require it, etc.
Did some research... looks like renewals (From I-751) does not require a updated Medical Exam.
My wife did the Medical Exam 4-5 years ago when getting her initial green card. So it looks like we may have dodged the buckshot.
Sorry to hear you are going through this... Have you at least TRIED a waiver? Another thing you can do is... go to multiple authorized doctors for the exam, and flat out ask them at the start if they will deem covid vaccine "not appropriate for the applicant"? This does the trick, from what I hear.
I don't think it's for renewals. As for farming for doctors it's kind of hard, the CDC doesn't provide a list of contraindications for COVID like it does for other vaccines. If you're over six months old then it's so safe and effective that there's no reason not to take it according to the CDC. So I was told by the doctor the only box they could check was for religious reasons.
As for the waiver I followed up with legal advice, it's impossible to tell what USCIS will approve or not approve and if it's only for the COVID injections they're likely to revoke it and REALLY ban us from the country.
So if the requirement is removed then we can proceed, otherwise we might need to give up and find ways to visa hop to another country.
Damn, yeah... it might not be worth risking a all-out denial... And just find a way to wait it out until these requirements are removed.
It just sucks though, the process itself takes like two years.... to get all this way and have this happening is frustrating :(
Really sorry fren... I feel for you
Thanks for the comments. I'm mostly surprised there isn't more attention on this. The US is violating the Nuremberg codes on mass and nobody gives a fuck.
Consider the following:
US-Mexico Border
I have considered it. The Mexican cartels have operational control on the Southern side. I'd be looking at forking over a considerable amount of cash, potential rape or kidnapping and then getting left in the desert.
Also, check with your lawyer if your wife qualifies to apply for citizenship... she may. My wife is even though her renewal is not completed/approved yet.
