What we are seeing in Argentina and Netherlands is a taste of what is to come. What we see in Spain is a taste of what is to come. What we saw in Slovakia... Many countries are beginning to see a powerful pendulum swing. Leftism breeds chaos and economic ruin, and the people are tired of it. When people get desperate they will elect anyone. So far, from what I've noticed, the outsider people they have been electing have all been great. Expect Meloni. The Italian parliament passed a law basically giving Meloni the same powers Mussolini had. I hate when history rhymes.
Don't gloat too soon. We haven't reached 2024 yet and there's still another unannounced pandemic waiting in the rafters to swoop down.
They can't even get 10% of people to muzzle up right now here in Hellinois.

Plus a massive financial crash everyone can see coming; hard to see how they would transition to a new economy but some say that is on the cards too
There are two of them that have been announced. A pneumonia like one in Europe and something going around in dogs. One of them will likely be the next big scare if they can pull off ginning it up.
This whole idea that voting for someone outside the system is going to fix everything is what's dumb.
Changing the system from the top-down through voting takes someone of extraordinary strength with vast reserves of capital (financial, social, political, personal charisma etc.) backed by a strong core of rich, elite establishment types willing to follow.
If you aren't strong enough, one of two things will happen: a breakdown in the system (any military coup) or your latest greatest hope becomes subsurvient to the system (Meloni). Or a mix of the two. (Trump)
Like if Javier Milei really pushes things, all that will happen is another military coup and chaos for years. And if he doesn't push things, he'll be just another loud-mouth clown like Meloni.
If he pushes and tries to fight the system, he'll become an autocrat dictator and will have to sell off most of Argentina to get the capital and strength required to stay in power (i.e. Putin). And a libertarian is the worst possible choice for dictator, he'll really suck at it.
