When it began, I was already convinced it was kablooie thanks to the Q operation. Very, very skeptical. The hysteria emphasized this point to me. People and the government and the media were acting as if this was literally one of those Hollywood movies where 90% of humanity are wiped out by a deadly, and I mean, deadly, virus. Aka 12 monkeys, or the Resident Evil film.
But it just wasn't there. It was essentially affecting ONLY those elderly over 60, with two or more co-morbidities, and nothing (except the hype) for most of the population.
Nonetheless, my kids were taking it serious so I said to myself, OK, I'll do my due diligence. I'll behave exactly as if there is a deadly fatal virus jhust outseide the door and we're really in that scenario.
So I disinfected the car whenever arriving home from a shopping trip, stripped of all my clothes and threw them in the wash, and showered, after using disinfectant at the door to kills .... lol, yeah, the virus. Because IF it really is what they were all saying it is, then doing anything else would be foolish. But almost no one else was doing things as seriously. It was all hype, but only lip service hype.
So I did my full due-diligence for 3 months exactly AS IF what the govt. media and idiots were saying was actually factual. Then, after that, I'm like, "well, look I played your game for 3 months. I gave you the benefit of ANY doubt (aka 99% doubt, but still) and did even more stringently than you demanded, as REALLY what would be appropriate if you were telling the truth."
"So you cannot accuse me of anything. And from now on, I'm going to act exactly as what I know is the reality, that you're all bullsh*te."
But all around me, watching a society descend into mental illness levels of fear, accommodation and nuttiness, that was really really hard. But I can say, at least, that I survived 2 years in the most locked down city in the world.
I was worried for about two minutes. Then I saw the video coming from China that was over the top stupid and began wondering how in the hell the Chinese firewall was allowing all these videos of people dropping over dead to leak through. As soon as I did that, sometime in January, I knew this was all a false narrative. I didnt realize to what end the narrative was leading other than a vague election interference motive. It turned out to be that and much, much more.
By April 15th, the wife and I were in Lansing for the first large protest in the world against this narrative. We barely made it into the city after sitting on the highway for about three hours to go two miles ( we left 3 hours early too for the 90 minute drive) and never got out of our car (wife had to pee) but we did get to witness the total gridlock Michigan's Capital city was that day as we drove around the outer reaches of the protest area looking for someplace for the wife to find relief. We never got closer than 4 or 5 blocks away from the protest. Ive been to Michigan MSU games in East Lansing with nearly 100k fans all trying to get into the city at the same time and Ive never seen the gridlock so intense.
Well, I'm glad you're here.
