One of my favorites for a long time. Part of the challenge: except for a few areas, science and technology have stalled. Funding has gone mostly into junk science. Almost a concerted effort to prevent innovative items from reaching fruition.
I used to love reading that magazine as a kid.
So did I. I always grabbed it as soon as it hit the newsstands.
I used to get Popular Science in high school. I built a little steam engine in HS machine shop. The plans came from an ad in Popular Science.
The failure of the magazine is the result of idiots who don't know enough to put something meaningful together.
Yes. iPhones, not workbenches. Video games, not hot-rodding an engine. Porn, not soccer with the neighborhood guys. etc
Wonder if their ownership traces back to rockefellers and when.
