Can anyone explain what that headline is about? My liberal family members have been talking about it non stop but it comes from the msm so it's probably garbage.

He swears the oath so that we will trust with the heavy responsibilities that come with President. Especially when the country is at war. Not so he can run again. Not a big stretch here. I have not listened.
Typical word play by the dummies , to the dummies.
First of all it silly to say that he was part of an insurrection. The rest is law fair, twisting words and meanings for each party's desired outcome. Which is even more silly. How many silly’s does it take to equal ridiculous?
17 I believe 🤪😉
"Lawfare" ... it is anything but "Fair"
Here is the source: https://www.msnbc.com/deadline-white-house/deadline-legal-blog/trump-constitution-oath-14th-amendment-rcna127049
"Why would the former president emphasize such a thing? That’s because Section 3 of the amendment disqualifies insurrectionists who have “previously taken an oath ... to support the Constitution.” Thus, the argument goes in his Colorado Supreme Court appeal, he’s eligible for the presidency again in 2024 because he swore to “preserve, protect, and defend” the Constitution, not support it. "
To me it sounds exactly like the stuff Trump always does, say something true, but worded in a way that it can easily be twisted by the media, in order to generate MSM headlines, and achieve his ultimate goal of getting publicity/exposure to whatever he was pointing to.

Need to see the actual article that the headline came from. Exact wording, and context matters.
Not to liberals.

Maybe it’s about if Trump was deemed elected in 2020. Dems trying everything to keep him from running/ winning in 2024.
I assumed he was pointing to the lack of oaths of office in the other presidents.
