By the way: a jet with its nose in the air like that is very strange. Full reverse thrust with stuck main gear??
I'm guessing snow/ice accumulated on the larger rear surfaces, and it weighed down the back -- tilting the plane's nose up.
What you say makes sense. No way a pilot would fly without getting that snow off.
