Elon and Trump, neither care if you “like” them.

Both DJT and Musk are motivated by something greater than being liked. I find that comforting, especially in light of the troubled times ahead.
Which goes against social media where you are supposed to put up a front to generate mass like and attention.
Difference is they are using the opposite approach to generate attention by being controversial and trailblazing a path based on individualism versus collectiveness that social media promotes.
I really like this quote, really hoping Elon is on our side
I really like Elon, but I don't trust him yet.
He's too into the transhumanism stuff, and believes EVs are the answer to a problem we don't have, and while I don't hold anyone's success against them, all his success, power, and influence can corrupt him if he's not careful.
He does have that "fuck you" attitude that I like when it comes to people trying to control him. As time goes on, I like him more and more, so we'll see.
I'm with you. I consider him a wild card. He certainly stirs things up well, but I don't yet trust him.
It's a quote by Faux news so probably fake.
If you focus too much on being liked, you don't get anything important done that requires the focus.

When your rich it's easy to not care about being liked. When you are trying to become rich and and need connections or promotions it's a good idea to want to be liked...
