Ad blockers work for websites, but I believe ads in youtube videos are embedded in the video, so you are stuck watching the whole thing, like in this case, or given the opportunity to click out after a few seconds.
You can also try the brave browser. I use it on my phone & computer and I never get YouTube ads. I like it better than chrome/Firefox/ whatever other globohomo browsers and apps.
You know adblockers exist, right?

Try adblock plus. I never see an ad in a YT video on my home computers. I don't know if it works on phones because I've never tried it.
Just added it, and it DID block the imbedded ad! I guess I'll need to donate some money for the "honor ware" :)
I'm glad it worked for you. I've used it for years and never had trouble with it.
Ok, thanks, I only use a laptop for internet.
I just turn off the sound and start scanning the comments.
Are you using a computer or a phone?
If a phone, Apple or Android?
On PC, uBlock Origin and Sponsor Block are both still working for me.
That will stop ads that are part of a youtube video?
I don't see any YouTube ads using Firefox, uBlock Origin, and Sponsorblock.
Install Firefox and then the following addons-
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/sponsorblock/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
ublock origin blocks youtube ads
