I would say it is probably a reference to Yemanjá, who is a candomblé/vudu Goddess of the Sea (basically a female Poseidon) and mother of all Orishás (the Orishás are essentially Elementals/Titans, but in the African tradition not the Greek).
And/or she is a female version of Abraxas, who is a Greek god that is sort of "Jesus and Lucifer in one", or at least a great Archon (Archangel/Annunaki).
And/or with her five pointed star, she represents Sopdet, who is more or less analogous to Isis.
