Michael McCaul is one of my congressmen and he is a total piece of sh*t. Unfortunately, his competitors for the upcoming elections are pretty weak so we may end up with this dirt bag again. He represent the 10th district of Texas if you want to dig on him.
He says he running, but we'll see. As for Cornyn, it's the exact same thing. They don't have any strong competition so they end up winning the primary and then we have to hold our nose and vote for them or we'll get a democrat demon. I'm in Texas too BTW, so this is a big deal to me. Most of the people that we have sent to DC are stunningly horrible.
Yea, unfortunately I live in the suburbs so I don't get to vote in Houston city elections. I wish they would change the laws so that those people in the surrounding suburbs could vote in the elections of their "Hub" city. There are more people in the burbs than there are in Houston proper and the leadership of those hub cities affects all of us in the surrounding areas. I pray that She-hack doesn't win. Even though he's a democrat, Whitmire is MUCH less offensive.

Unless he'll be "stepping down to spend more time with the family". Down here we're stuck with the likes of John Cornyn

Houston has to decide between two democrats for mayor tomorrow. John Whitmire and Sheila Jackson Lee.
