Man, that loaf is bread is enormous. All the packages of nearly everything is a fraction of the size it used to be. I used to joke about the size of Costco items, but now, they are all getting smaller and smaller too.
I saw this video earlier
It really shows just how bad things have gotten in the past decade
1990 was 33 Years ago ;) But i get what your saying.
The lady who is speaking sounds like a nut job liberal who is vaxxed to the max.
Go back to your valley girl life - quit trying to make excuses for the lapdog in chief, failure of a POTUS.
I used to get a 2lb package of bacon for $11.98. That package is now 24oz but it's still $11.98.
I don’t deny inflation is real, but that’s not costing 75 bucks…
It depends on the region of the country.
I remember going shopping with my parents in the 80s. We would have 3 or 4 carts stuffed full. The car would barely have enough room for us 4 kids to fit back in it. 30 trips up and down 2 flights of steps. Every cabinet would be stufed full. The fridge/freezer would be stuffed full. The second freezer would be stuffed full. I dont remember the exact costs but i swear my parents didnt spend more than 2 or 300 for all of it.
300 today doesnt even fill one cart.
