Satanic ram set up in Iowa Statehouse as show of 'religious freedom'

The group have erected an altar topped with candles, a large banner and a ram figure with a skull covered in mirrors, a red cloak and wreath. The display will be up for fourteen days.

The Franklin Scandal took place in the Midwest. The Midwest isn’t all farm country and apple pie as it’s framed to be.

My dad's family was from there - he was born in 1930 - and the majority were very conservative. Just looked up The Franklin Scandal. Wow. I guess it's changed a lot.

I'm from Iowa and it's mostly conservatives in the rural areas, but the major cities are pretty liberal. But this is a whole new level of WTF....
