Corresponds to a rise in less dangerous/physically demanding jobs.
Increasing amounts of artificial crap and chemicals in our food. Even the organic stuff (Ala Fertilizers/Weed killers). That is actually banned in most of the world except the United States. Cars more widespread then ever. So fewer people are walking/Biking places. Public Transit is in more then a few places either non-existent, dirty, crowded, and or dangerous. Or some mixture. Meaning those who may have walked or biked somewhere likely take a car instead.
Sky High divorce rates discouraging the formation of families.
Fewer Fathers in the home then ever.
A steadfast societal refusal to acknowledge Mens issues and Mens problems with just as much seriousness as Womens. Seriously when was the last time you ever heard of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month? Did you even know November 19th is international Men’s Day?
Declines of Positive Male Role Models in Media or Online. Ala the Chivalric Knight. Brave Soldier/Commando. Honest Police Detective. Or the Dashing Hero of Spaghetti Westerns.
So there’s not even a substitute father. As poor of one a fictional character might be.
Fairly consistent elimination or forced Gender integration of Men’s groups that aren’t Masonic or religious.
Painfully out of touch, or completely inept attempts out at outreach by the few groups that say they care.
Rampant Pornography Addictions.
Inflation driving down buying power. Meaning Men are spending more and more time working to have the same buying power their fathers did at their age in order to support a family. Meaning less time for physical pursuits and activities
If you’ve spent any length of time browsing Redpill/MGTOW or manosphere content. You’d know what their situation is and probably the outsized level of influence they have. Particularly on some groups of younger men and boys.
Religious Messaging that for lack of better term has grown effeminate and Pacifistic.
A lack of an ideal or National Goal to motivate people to work towards. Whatever you may think of Space Race it worked to motivate people and provided a sense of National Pride. Whether it was real or not.
An increasing belief, particularly in younger generations that our country and society isn’t worth fighting for anymore.
So many factors it’s near impossible to completely cover them all with delving into a full on essay.
All the plastic containers, and especially water bottles, leech synthetic estrogen into the water. Refilling a water bottle or exposure to the sun compounds this effect. The most common way to consume water these days is from bottled water.
Also all the processed food containing soy products which many postulate increases the production of estrogen in men. The term soyboy didnt come out of nowhere.
As a tradesmen for 40+ years, I am witness to the weakening of men. Many of the kids today could not have done the job we did back then without all the new tools and machines that make the job easier. When I first started framing we humped all the lumber by hand. Carrying 3/4 tongue and groove decking up the stairs. Handing 1/2 inch up two floors to the roof. Raising a gabel wall. Carrying bundles of shingles up a ladder. None of that is done by hand any longer. They have skytracks that are used for everything now. Most of todays boys could simply not handle the job I did in the 80s and 90s.
Interesting, but even though I watch 90% less sports since before I got involved in the movement, what I have seen is that there are still plenty of good physical specimens of elite athletic strength and energy in sports. I coached HS sports before retiring in 2020, and I can tell you that high school athletism is still at a high level.
It's true. Make your kids be physical.
