I have COVID. This is my 2nd go-round-the 1st time was a year and a half ago. For the first bout, I had ordered meds from America's Doctor and still have 6 Hydroxychloroquine pills and a few Prednisone 50 mg pills left.
This time, I have respiratory symptoms along with the severe body aches and exhaustion. I am wondering if I can just take the Hydroxxhlroquine, or does this medication need to be combined with Ivermectin in order to be effective? Thanks!
Hydroxychloroquine is a powerful zinc ionophore, meaning it opens a channel into cells for zinc to enter. Zinc is what does the actual work against respiratory viruses by interfering with viral replication (reproduction). All the HCQ does is help the zinc get into the cell. HCQ without zinc is worthless. Zinc without a zinc ionophore (there are many) isn't very effective. I take 50 mg of zinc per day along with a zinc ionophore.
Thank you! I had already started on taking Zinc today!
^ This is how HCQ works, and you can also substitute any zinc ionophore for HCQ like the OTC supplement Quercetin.
Quinine is the natural form of HCQ. This is easily available in a supplement form and can be ordered from any number of reputable supplement and vitamins producers. It is preferable to HCQ because of the inactive complementary components of the natural bark and leaves of the cinchona Officianalis tree. Chloroquine was the synthesized version that had such bad side effects that they adjusted it to hydroxy chloroquine to mitigate some of the dangerous side effects, however any dosage over 1500mg per day has the potential for severe side effects up to and including death. I personally stick to the natural versions and ivermectin, along with zinc and vitamins D and E.
I take 200mg HCQ every day. No side effects.
That is the standard dosing for long term use. It is off label prescribed for RA and Lupus because of its natural anti-inflammatory effects.
Unless you take zinc as well, the HCQ isn't doing you any good (unless you have malaria).
Yes, I take Quercetin + 50 mg zinc every day whether I'm sick or not. I believe black cumin seed oil is also a zinc ionophore. I saw a list a few months ago, and there were 50 or 60 natural substances on the list that will act as a zinc ionophore.
Chiming in - also EGCG is a zinc ionophore
