Anytime I feel a cold coming on, I take Zn and 2 Quercetins, which also serve as ionophores and which are easy to get OTC. I haven't been sick in 4 years.
THIS above............I was sick the beginning of the year. Usual symptoms were not there and the first indication of anything wrong was chest congestion which is not normal. I did the Zelenko protocol, Ivermectin and did a nebulizer with food grade peroxide mix for weeks on end. It still took about a month to kick its ass. After week 2 I was all head congested and after week three was hacking up flem for another week. Some of the bugs out there are really Bad!
No you need 30mg of zinc to make hydroxychloroquine to work.
You also need D3 500oiu and 1000mg Vitamin C.
THIS^^^ but that's a typo and should read "D3 5000 iu" (actually, I take 10,000 every day).
Note that HCQ + zinc is effective ONLY if started early (first three days). Otherwise take Ivermectin. For lung congestion you might need Betadine. Betadine contains povidone-iodine, which kills viruses. The protocol reduces the viral load to prevent lung infection. Also consider taking Azithromycin or Doxycycline.
Most of the time hydroxycholoroquine is solid treatment, but the earlier the better. At late stages, i.e., really sick and intense difficulty breathing, hydroxycholoroquine can be detrimental and worsen the condition. This truth was used (and abused, because the press didn't explain that it was helpful most of the time) when the treatment was being demonized in the press in 2020.
Ivermectin is beneficial at all stages of Covid, so it's a better choice. Also easy to get if you don't mind the horse paste or live in a state (TN, VT, maybe others) where it's OTC.
Here is another treatment that directly alleviates breathing difficulties and is curative. It upped my energy levels right away. Nebulized hydrogen peroxide is a treatment that is cheap and easily available, no prescriptions necessary. A bit of a pain to set up the first time, but a great home remedy for lots of other maladies.
My post about it is old, but still valid. Lots of good info in the comments too, including some testimonials. Others have posted their own experience with it as well, if you want to search the forum.
Hydroxychloroquine is a powerful zinc ionophore, meaning it opens a channel into cells for zinc to enter. Zinc is what does the actual work against respiratory viruses by interfering with viral replication (reproduction). All the HCQ does is help the zinc get into the cell. HCQ without zinc is worthless. Zinc without a zinc ionophore (there are many) isn't very effective. I take 50 mg of zinc per day along with a zinc ionophore.
Quinine is the natural form of HCQ. This is easily available in a supplement form and can be ordered from any number of reputable supplement and vitamins producers. It is preferable to HCQ because of the inactive complementary components of the natural bark and leaves of the cinchona Officianalis tree. Chloroquine was the synthesized version that had such bad side effects that they adjusted it to hydroxy chloroquine to mitigate some of the dangerous side effects, however any dosage over 1500mg per day has the potential for severe side effects up to and including death. I personally stick to the natural versions and ivermectin, along with zinc and vitamins D and E.
Yes, I take Quercetin + 50 mg zinc every day whether I'm sick or not. I believe black cumin seed oil is also a zinc ionophore. I saw a list a few months ago, and there were 50 or 60 natural substances on the list that will act as a zinc ionophore.
“Zinc is the bullet – it kills the virus. The only problem is the bullet doesn’t get to the place where it needs to be.
The virus is inside the cell. The enzyme is inside the cell. And the zinc on its own cannot get into the cell. You have a bullet without a gun – useless.
Now, it turns out there’s a class of medications called ‘zinc ionophores’ or a class of substances called ‘zinc ionophores’ — what they do — is they open up a channel, a door, which allows zinc to go from outside the cell to inside the cell . . .
. . . They’re the guns that shoot the bullet. The bullet then gets into the cell and stops the virus enzyme from helping the virus replicate.
So you have a gun and bullet. Only the synergy of the two creates a functioning unit . . .
. . . Patients were having trouble sourcing it, because it was four different ingredients that weren’t always available in the same place. They had trouble finding the right doses.
It was a puzzle that was a little too complex for people to put together.
So I was asked as a necessity — as a favor to people — to produce something that has everything in one package.
It made sense to me, so with the help of my colleagues, we were able to produce a substance — a compound called Z-Stack — that has Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and most importantly has quercetin and zinc.”

Every day since the covid lockdowns and Dr. Z stated it, I take Quercetin, Zinc, D3 and Vitamin C. If I get anything itis usually mild. Knock on wood.
If I feel anything coming on, I take Ivermectin pills and zinc immediately and it goes away by morning.
I take an eraser full of horse past two or three times a week also.

What?
The ivermectin for horses. Here is the protocol.

^ This is how HCQ works, and you can also substitute any zinc ionophore for HCQ like the OTC supplement Quercetin.

I take 200mg HCQ every day. No side effects.
That is the standard dosing for long term use. It is off label prescribed for RA and Lupus because of its natural anti-inflammatory effects.
Unless you take zinc as well, the HCQ isn't doing you any good (unless you have malaria).
I have IBS and I do take zinc every day, plus magnesium, K2, Nattokinase, Bromelain, B1, B12, L-Lycine and NAC.
Add a zinc ionophore like quercetin.
I've just run out of quercetin but I take HCQ as stated. I also have Cinchona bark for making emergency quinine tea,

Chiming in - also EGCG is a zinc ionophore
