Major props to Michael Cassidy, the man who beheaded the Baphomet display in the Iowa state capitol. I hope this incident elevates the discussion of "Who is God" in this country. Traditionally God has been considered the Creator. That was certainly the perspective of our founding fathers. This country was founded on a framework of Judeo-Christian values placing God the Creator as the source of all human rights.
Satan is not a creator. Satan is created. Created by whom? By God. Although he rebelled against God, he is not God, he is a created being. In Romans 1:23, the admonishment to not worship creation is clearly stated. Of course, anyone who would worship Satan will ignore the bible.
Point being, I don't think the founding fathers ever considered worship of Satan to be a protected religious practice. Our nation was built upon the belief in a benevolent God. The first amendment right to freedom of worship really should be interpreted as intended to allow free worship of God the Creator, not free worship of creation or any created entity. We are confusing worship of spiritual entities (demons) for the worship of God. I hope in the new America this misinterpretation is corrected.
Jefferson also had every miracle Jesus worked deleted from his Bible.
have you read his letter to Dr. Rush? he was highlighting the actual teaching and words of Jesus...getting us to think before blindly accepting what religious people 'tell' us to believe; to become familiar with Jesus, not the contrivances.
"to the corruptions of Christianity, I am indeed opposed; but not to the genuine precepts of Jesus himself. I am a Christian, in the only sense in which he wished any one to be; sincerely attached to his doctrines, in preference to all others; ascribing to himself every human excellence, & believing he never claimed any other."

And we know Q is fond of JFK. and JFK was a fan of Thomas Jefferson...
"I want to tell you how welcome you are to the White House. I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered together at the White House, with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.
Someone once said that Thomas Jefferson was a gentleman of 32 who could calculate an eclipse, survey an estate, tie an artery, plan an edifice, try a cause, break a horse, and dance the minuet. Whatever he may have lacked, if he could have had his former colleague, Mr. Franklin, here we all would have been impressed."
