Shinzo Abe is the former Prime Minister. Who was connected to 4 ministers. Abe was assassinated a while ago.
For the present, it is Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida who is in hot water. His approval ratings have hit record lows. Same with Justin Trudeau right now.
Remember - Trump has said he liked many people. He often mentions that the Pres of Mexico is a nice guy and he likes him even though he is a socialist. That doesn't mean he isn't a bad guy working with the cartels - it just means Trump was able to work with him on getting important things done.
Connection to Abe simply seems to be the fact that its the same subgroup in the same political party LDP, which is a very wide range and nothing specific to this scandal.

Fetterman was lamenting the fact that US Steel was being sold to foreign country, and I had guessed that the DS was losing control, and this seems to be further clue to the same ... still wild conjectures at this stage.
Good find though. I didnt hear about this from any of the Japanese patriot sources I watch. I guess they wouldnt make the connection like we would.
