I have an open mind about the moon landing...basically do not know what to think. The reason is that my great uncle helped make the rocket engine that went to the moon. He was an engineer. I know for a fact that he believes this is what he did.
Who knows? Maybe they fooled him. Maybe he helped create it, but it was never used.
Interesting story. He said he was at a Sunday Bar-B-Q with other engineers from around the world. It was there that they started discussing the possibility of going to the moon. He said that same week, by Wednesday, the group started putting together a plan. As my uncle told this story, the emotion he portrayed (the pride and sentimental value) was so sincere.
So, I just leave it up in the air. I don't believe the media or government on much of anything and I understand the points disbelievers make.
Your great uncle believed that the rocket engine he helped make "went to the moon". But honestly I don't think we can positively conclude that was the case.

Yea. I agree. I am just in observation mode rather than holding a fixed opinion. He believed it, but there may be an explanation.
