Pretty hard to do on a long journey through the Darian Pass. Their close aren’t wrinkled or dirty. Some are not even carrying backpacks or suitcases. So tell me how they are managing clean hair, nails, skin and clothing. It isn’t like they are going to a laundromat and shower facilities daily.
As I said to the other pede, that's a fair point. I legit hadn't considered travel.
If you're in one place and have access to flowing water (even foul water like the Ganges) you can strip to nothing and wash your clothing. And it's quite possible to scrub your arse clean with sand - something I wish I didn't know. Harder to keep proper hygiene in cold environments, I think.
But travel by foot is a different kettle of fish, so I definitely stand corrected.
