Louis and Maries minor son was imprisoned after the Revolution. After a couple or a few years he escaped to England. George set him up with lands he owned in Virginia ( maybe NC Im a little fuzzy here without the proper thumbdrive its saved to) and an income. The sons business manager was very astute and the young exile took his name. That name was Payseur. A huge empire was built starting with rail lines but expanding to include many, many companies that are still recognizable today. I cant accurately remember but I believe AT&T was one of them. Railroads and telegraphs tended to run together.

Louis was a Bourbon, a cadet House of the Capetian line. They claim Carolinginan blood and trace back to Charlemagne through marriage. They believe that the blood of Christ runs through their lineage and that the antichrist will arise among their descendants.

It is said that the Payseur empire is now defunct but somehow I doubt it.

Neon Revolt had a very long and well researched article on the Payseurs and the complete tree of their businesses around the time Q mentioned [P]. Neon Revolt freaked out somehow though. Maybe he was outed, suicided, something else? I cant remember but that article and the Neon Revolt persona have been wiped from the net. I have it saved to a thumbdrive but I have about 20 of them full of archived material and have no clue where to even begin looking for it.

One day when I retire perhaps Ill write a book using this material. Since Im not really a very talented writer maybe I can feed it into AI and have it write it for me ;)
