. Mother is a complete ostrich about all this. 84 yo. Problem Is she lives with 300 other old people who are all too tired to think about this stuff. Even appealing g to the future of her 19 great grand kids doesn't work. Can only hope they don't bother voting.

I'm sorry. I am not old enough to know what it's like to have to make a housing decision for my parents. But I'm sure she would benefit from being around her family, and hearing those conversations. I don't envy you. It is hard enough in today's parasitic world to afford to pay our own bills. God bless you and I will pray for the elderly.
