Denmark's Queen Margrethe II will abdicate on January 14 next year after 52 years on the throne, she announced during her traditional New Year's Eve speech.

hehehe. Well, how on earth does a 83 year old monarch abdicating to her son indicate anything?

CEOs, politicians, in an untimely manner, but this seems timely if nothing else.

Anyway, in and of itself, I don't think its significant, unless there is other relevant information.
