Blockchain could eliminate dishonest shit. We could file our own documents, have forensic accountability as proof date and time and numerical verification. We would k ow whonfiled first.
How do you prevent people from uploading things later that were said earlier, as if they were current? How do you prevent deep fakes from being catalogued?
Using blockchain, from my limited understanding, would protect you from this since you have sole ownership of the token (unless you give away your personal login info).
Nope
Come on, it's AI with the group that shares our DNA. Remember 2001? It will be manipulated. They're mining for info. I can 100% see them making polls from info fed.
Right on especially In August 2020, The Blackstone Group announced plans to acquire Ancestry for $4.7 billion. In February 2021, Ancestry announced Deb Liu, a former Facebook executive, as their CEO effective March 1. In November 2021, Ancestry announced that they have acquired French Genealogy Company Geneanet.
Interesting connections. I will consider these things. AI is either going to be an amazing tool for us, or a potential to destroy the world.
Used properly, it will destroy corruption. If it is able to be controlled by blackhats, we would be screwed. I see that God wins, & this could be an amazing tool to do this. I certainly can see the possibility of it going the other way, even more clearly with concerns you bring up here.
To each their own. He was the first to have the cancel culture tested on from a conservative media standpoint. He generally brings receipts & points out "coincidences" that others refuse to talk about.
If he is a glowie, he certainly shined a light to wake up a lot of normies & get them to do their own digging.
I was very hyped to hear about this at first - as the vid goes on and the guest starts going through a list of "Ai can help you here, and here, and here, and here, and here...."
It started to give me the "slippery slope" vibe - where people start going to Ai for all their answers instead of time with God...
It's certainly clear that Ai will be part of "our" future... and I get there will be some positive things from that. But it also feels like it's part of the pavement on the road to our demise.
God wins in the end - but we also have to keep an eye out for things that pull people away from where they are designed to be looking to.
I ended up falling asleep listening to this last night. I agree it has that potential if used incorrectly. It seems to be a tool that has the potential for great things, though as with any power tool, the user must be aware of how to use it properly before using it personally.
Interesting a site by ancestry founder posted on here 1hour earlier

Yes and it is forensically traceable with a date and time.

Awesome!
Glenn Beck still feels like kind of glowie. I can't trust the guy and his endorsement of things always makes me skeptical.

Did Beck ask the dude any tough questions?
It seemed more like an announcement of a potential tool to be used, or spreading the word that this is a thing now.

Did Beck time travel back to the seventies for that outfit??
Inflation would tell you he is dressing to the correct era.
