Remember all those food plants burning down? Nobody ever got hurt. I suspect that it may have been WHs taking out the poisoning food plants. The black hats would not care about the workers if they were going for a food shortage.
But wasn't this during the trail derailment/ east palestine debacles?
Did the white hats targeting the toxic trains amd ruining the surroundings? That wouldnt be negligent, but criminal.
The derailment was intentional, but not by WHs. A standard tactic of the DS is to run a small effort before doing a major attack.

Oh goodness gracious, it is only beginning. Keep that stock going for another couple years or so and like others have said, grow your own food because they are very busy making sure a food crisis does happen.

When the details come out about what exactly is in what brand of food, gardens and storage will be handy. I think we did avert mass starvation. US farms are still going strong. If they tried Europe style regulations there wouldn't be protests just mass non-compliance. Hopefully we will just have to dump some trash food.
There weren’t enough plants blown up to impact the supply chain. I would suspect some WH op. The real food chain crisis if I remember correctly was that there was a biblical level of locusts swarming and that could impact a lot of crops internationally. Personally I say stock up some but if there is a plan they will know how to get the chain back up quick. There are relatively quick and scalable ways to grow food if we actually wanted to but just like everything else it’s a conspiracy.
