I'm pretty sure that they're talking about the show called "Humans". First & Second season were really good. I watched it thru Prime.

Awww, you're right! It doesn't make sense why you can buy it on DVD but not download it from Prime anymore. They have the complete series pretty cheap on Ebay right now... It was filmed in the UK... I enjoyed watching the series and highly recommend it.

I can't remember the name of it but I believe it was on SciFi channel or maybe BBC. But people employ "synths" as housekeepers, drivers, etc but the synths somehow became more human and were rising up or something. It's been years.
