Iowa governor Terry Branstad was Trump's ambassador to China...he had worked with China before on trade, so they're familiar with the state.

Branstad was the longest serving governor in US History; from 83-99 & 2011-2017. Trump mentions him at rallies.

sure China would trust him to make fair deals.

and was just reading about Iowa & food production, some parts of the state are the Best in the world for corn, so it's a good state to be friendly with.

edit to add; the fertile soil in the Iowa bluffs is called Loess. One of the other/few places it’s found is in China.

I hope that means China has switched who it will be cheating for this election. I'd love to have Trump with more than enough votes to win legitimately and then have the Democrats investigate and find a bunch of fraud that doesn't change the outcome, but makes them look stupid for suggesting there isn't substantial fraud.
