My hubby and I tried for 11 years, all sorts of tests, no answers, unexplained infertility. We said fine, let’s plan a trip and God said NO- 3 kids in 3 years 3 months, the 4th arrived later but was born to God 3 weeks shy of full term. So may I suggest trying not to obsess over getting pregnant. Stress makes it no fun and your body reacts to stress. So enjoy each other, live and see what God has planned for you.
Good advice. I leave it to God, especially something as important as bringing a soul into Earth. After all, there is only one way to enter Earth, and a million ways to die.
Many years ago my husband and I struggled getting pregnant! Tried for over 1 1/2 years. We were doing all the normal things people told us to do like have husband wear loose underwear, no hot baths or hot tubs, took temp to determine ovulation…, finally a friend told me to take robitussin dm when I was ovulating and for several days after. I did it and got pregnant right away! Can’t guarantee that is what did the trick! Good luck! 🙏
When I was looking into low-carb eating I heard on at least a couple videos that it helped fertility. I even told an ex-boss about that and I don't know if he took the advice but his wife got pregnant during their 2nd round of in-vitro. Might help!
I will say we eat a lot of pastas, bread, etc. Not that we’re overweight or unhealthy (quite the opposite) but maybe there’s something to this. Will dig into further!
Make sure to start keeping track of your wife's cycles, and study up on when it's the best time to try. For a normal healthy woman there's really only a couple days a month she's at her most fertile, and those are the days you want to try. Look up NFP (natural family planning) to learn more. My parents used it and it was very successful. I know a lot of young families that are using it too and getting pregnant left and right. The key is to hit those days, and even if you aren't successful one month, you can try again the next month, and more than likely you'll get it within a few tries. Good luck!
Try reaching out to Dr Bryan Ardis. I’m not not too sure if he can help, but he seems like a super-based/logical guy with a lot of experience. If he can’t help, he likely would know someone who can.
Is your wife tracking ovulation? If not get some ovulation test strips (I recommend the pre mom ones) and get to testing. Do the deed when the line starts to darken, the day the line is the darkest and a couple days later. Reason for this is that sperm lives in the body for a couple days so if you do the deed a couple days apart during ovulation week you increase your chances. Source: me who did this exact thing and got pregnant first cycle lol
In your 30s, 3 to 6 months is normal to conceive. After 35 it takes longer. Have your wife take the supplement vitex as it will regulate her hormones. If you’re tracking ovulation using the LH strip, an LH surge happens the day before ovulation so have sex those days. If you don’t have success by 6 months, I would also suggest castor oil packs on her ovaries. Look it up and do your research on that because it is a process and shouldn’t the done on the period and on certain cycle phase, only luteal I believe(dont quote me!) Best of luck!
like always i agreed w my wife hypothetically thinking this decision would impact us months or years down the road. but of course we got pregnant on the first try...what can you do?
(i also agreed in principle on various decisions like moving and getting a dog, which i considered to be long term impact but turned out to be immediate)
That’s awesome! I’ll say the first try is saving you some stress from the wife. Mine is convinced she’s broken in some way, just trying to stay positive.
Wife and I have been trying unsuccessfully for 3 months. Both unvaxxed, eat clean, exercise regularly, otherwise healthy individuals.
Any tips from the veterans in here would be welcomed! It’s been a bummer since we’re 30 and figured it’d be easier than this :(

11 years 🤯?!? Do you mind me asking how old you were when it happened? Wife’s grandma has her worried she “waited too long”, we’re only 30!
Married at 21, first child at 32, turned 33 4 months later.
Then had a couple more? Crazy. Sorry to hear about the 4th, you’ll see them again one day.
This gives me hope though and think we just gotta calm down and trust God. Appreciate you responding!

lol what! Robitussin? That is a first but will look into it, maybe there’s something to it 😂
Robo tripping 🤣 certainly leads to lowered inhibitions which is maybe enough?
That’s interesting, because Robitussin is made by Pfizer and its own indications say pregnant women should consult a doctor.
On that note, I heard marijuana is a wonder drug for fertility from some folks. No idea.
However, to the OP, keep trying. You're very young and God will provide.

the thing w/ carbs is they're not organic and lots of chemicals and estrogens (soy) which is bad for men.

The one month I didn’t chart, my wife and I got pregnant. We were waiting it out but now expecting our third child.

Watch 'Around the World in 80 Days'....worked for us.😉
Is she holding her pelvis upward after the package has been received? Nightly injections could be another option.
lol I will suggest this one!

now i just assume my seed is very strong. maybe yours is weak? ...i'll try not to get a big head about it...
Could be right! I’m one big effeminate male 😂
Quit trying! It seems like if you’re trying not to get pregnant, it happens. 😊 A lot of fun in the meantime.
That was my suggestion to the wife as well. We’re being way too systematic about it versus just having fun.
Her mind struggles not to compartmentalize and organize everything though, so telling her to basically “relax” is easier said than done.
Maybe a bit of wine?😉
Not sure why but around Thanksgiving and Christmas we're when all mine were conceived. The rest of the year didn't seem to count lol
