I made the terrible mistake 2.5 years ago and bought a very expensive I -Pad, got it all setup, facial recognition etc... Then set the tablet aside until it was time for me to use it for my project a few months later. I'd lost my pin, but figured that it had my face scan. Wrong!
I managed to try so many times to log in and I was ineligible to use any of their remedies NFC via I-Tunes(I have no I-Tunes account) I went to the Big downtown Nashville Apple store and since they could not get me into the I-Pad ether elected to just return it and the accessories. They couldn't do that ether, I had to go home and await Apple to unlock it remotely before I could get my refund.
Oddly I had moved and changed internet providers, so how was Apple able to remotely unlock the I-Pad since the I-Pad had never been online except at the Apple store.
Yeah, I know, everything has backdoors etc... Fuck Apple and their fake, tight, security, game.
Just within the last year or so you have to register phone sims in the Philippines, whereas before you didn't. You could be anonymous. Now you just get someone ELSE to register the Sim, easy to find someone to do it in a 3rd world country.

Baked in to every Apple device is a routine where it regularly 'calls home' any time it has any sort of internet connectivity.
It's not possible to turn that feature off unless you jailbreak the device.
I'll never buy another I-Pad or Mac again. Because screw Apple and the Lefties that work there.
I've never owned an Apple device and I never will.
But I've had to deal with many of them through work and I hate them more and more every day.
simple ,GPS geo tracker ,its in all sim related devices with self identifying log on.
