The first thing I think we all need to do is burn every notion of political conventional wisdom we have. Politics as usual ended on November 8, 2016 when MAGA upset the political establishment.

We live in the Post-Trump political era. An where a political figure can be accused of multiple high crimes and misdemeanors, survive two impeachments, an information warfare driven coup, and lawfare that would put most people in their graves. But President Trump is not just still standing, he’s growing our movement. He is positioned to win in a landslide with an irrefutable mandate.

President Trump doesn’t need to choose a running mate that satisfies the old V.P. standard. He doesn’t need to satisfy the Republican Establishment. He’s free to choose someone he knows will carry on the work of MAGA regardless of what the polls or pundits are saying.
