I offer a different perspective. This may be a set for Trump to have total control over the border when he returns. Ability to overcome the democrat governors along the border.
I think the Founding Father's assumption was that both the States and the Federal Government would share an interest in protecting our national borders, and border state borders, from foreign invaders.
Our Founding Father's hated the idea of an "all powerful, centralized government," but even they never would have thought that the central power federal government would WANT invaders.
That is where we are. DC wants invaders. States do not.
I'm pretty sure the Founding Father's would say this is one of those rare examples where throwing off the yoke of government is warranted and reestablishing a new government, as they did, would make sense.
The ultimate remedy for a President ignoring his duties like protecting the border is impeachment.
Unfortunately, Congress has no balls and no desire to do the right thing. The remedy for this is elections.
Unfortunately, elections are suspect. At least corrupted by money. At most corrupted by the ballot counting computers. The remedy for this is for the people to retake control over the government.
We're currently somewhere between step 2 and step 3.
Correct, but one cannot ignore the "acts" implemented under the guise of "National Security". Inside the "Patriot Act" as they so dubbed it, extra powers were relegated to bodies of policy makers that were appointed and not voted in.
They have been chiseling away at Americans rights for years, they have plenty of "policy" in place to back up any decision.
When the Corrupt are to be judged by more Corrupt we end up with a Corrupt System and ultimately A Country without a Constitution.
They are pushing along with their narrative, it won't end until the White Nationalist Patriots are cited as the problem. Either that, or sanity will prevail.
