"most" can be read as "fewest" in today's reverted clown world
I would not agree with that, necessarily. Many cohorts of Jews can be extremely traditional. In the USA a lot of folks who "know Jews" know people who are very secular. The closer one gets to New York City, etc. or to the old school groups/Synagogues in Europe, etc., the more one will encounter very old processes/practices.
If the Jews wish to show that this has been removed from their practices, then no one is stopping them from doing so. And they should do so, forthwith.
Meanwhile, let's not forget what happened only a few weeks ago with the New York City Chabad school and its tunnels. Lots of questions. No answers.
The problem is straight out of the Monty Python Life of Brian skit.
You can’t discuss something if you can’t name it, and someone is doing a very good job of creating narrative shields and misnomers and crossed grammars to make something very difficult to talk about.
From what I’ve gathered, a lot of them don’t seem to realize what the situation is, and as there are inadequate names for things, it’s difficult to read them in.
I do agree, though.
and surprise to us all, not one follows the Israeli Moses 10 commandments but the ones from before -
Talmudic + Babylonian + Sabbatean.
Ahhhhhh!!!!
Per last comment, exactly this.
“Sabbatean” would seem to indicate something regarding an idea about Sabbath observance.
NOPE.
It’s to do with a believed messiah named Sabbatai Zevi that was started in 1666, and from which Frankism grew - salvation through sin.
Insanity. Pure insanity.
