Ford announces 1,400 layoffs at Dearborn plant, as job cuts accelerate across the US
The same day that Ford announced the cuts, the S&P 500 stock index reached its highest level in history. Wall Street is salivating over the prospect of interest rate cuts and the use of artificial intelligence to cut jobs and force down wages.
These are the 1400 DEI workers hired to make the Lightning
a failed product from the get-go.
The scam is failing & US workers suffer for it. imo
They are shifting their focus to increasing production of the Rangers and Broncos which is where the demand is now. Adding 900 jobs at the location where those are being built.
I count that as a win.
Yea, all gas powered. Not electric bullshit.
Just took the old Crown Vic out for a spin yesterday [we've been housebound due to a winter storm] and with 255,000 miles she still starts right up and purrs like a horny kitten. Ford didn't get them all wrong. Wish they never stopped making that model, and now they're becoming harder and harder to find.
New cars suck and they're ugly too.
